Hi, I’m August. Everything I do is in service of healing and nurturing the community around me. As a boutique fine art portrait photographer, I find continuity between nature and humanity as an alternative to traditional glamour shots. This vision is based on my heartfelt desire to empower value and worthiness in all people. As a survivor of severe domestic abuse, I learned through my own healing that we grow our confidence and self-worth, not by comparison, but by uplifting each other.
 
I create photographs imbued with intention through authentic connection. Whether it is a beloved pet, a recent accomplishment, new addition to the family, or overcoming and achieving a goal, it is my distinct honor to capture these moments for you to cherish and pass down through generations. Hanging such treasures in your home creates a connection to your story – your legacy. It’s my hope that these photographs expand the possibility of how you see yourself and one another
